What happens after I register?
You will receive an email from suporte@admeus.pt advising your registration status. An invoice will be mailed to you during the following week. Once your payment is received, we will add you and your company to the confirmed list of attendees which will be released closer to the Congress date.
Will I get a business meeting table?
If you are a distributor or service provider, a business meeting table for 6 people will be allocated to you. If you require additional tables, please contact welcome@distripress.org as an additional fee at CHF 250 + VAT each will be payable. Additional free seating areas will be available in the Business Meeting Hall near the café and Expo stands for ad hoc meetings, but these areas cannot be reserved ahead of time.
When do Early Bird Rates end?
The Early Bird delegate card must be purchased before 30 June 2022 and is applicable to members only. From 1 July the cost increases to CHF 1850 + VAT
How can I enjoy the Members Delegate card price?
Your membership fee for 2022 must be paid before you can register as a Member Delegate for the Estoril Congress.
Official Languague
The official languague is Portuguese.
Currency
Portugal is a member of the European Monetary System. Its currency is Euro.
Exchange
Major credit cards are accepted in most hotels, shops and restaurants. Currency can be changed at exchange bureaux or at hotel receptions. Automatic changing and cash dispensing machines linked to international networks are also widely available.
Sales Tax
Sales tax (VAT) is included in prices quoted. For non EU residents, tax free shopping schemes are available in many shops, which give substantial savings to visitors.
Climate
The average maximum daily temperature and average minimum temperature in the Lisbon area in September are 27ºC / 84 F (high) and 18ºC / 64 F (low) with an average of 8 hours of sunshine per day. Please take into consideration that Estoril/Cascais is located by the ocean, and therefore a sea breeze can be felt in the late afternoon or evening. A sweater or a pashmina for ladies may be necessary.
Time Zone
The time zone in Portugal is GMT+00 (Lisbon, Dublin, London).
Electric Current
Portuguese standard is the European type, 2 pin sockets with 220 volts AC at 50 cycles. The “Type C” Europlug and the “Type E” and “Type F” Schuko are used in Portugal. If your appliance’s plug doesn’t match the shape of these sockets, you will need a travel plug adapter in order to plug in.
Accessbility
Lisbon airport is 30km to the east of Estoril. The journey from Lisbon Airport to Estoril by public transport is divided into two parts. The first stage from the airport to the Cais do Sodré train station and from there by train to Estoril station.
From the airport to the Cais de Sodré the option is by metro, bus or taxi. The metro/bus ticket is less than 5.00€. A taxi ride is about 10/15€.
The Aerobus from the airport to the Cais do Sodré station, passing through the city centre, costs 3.50€. The Aerobus departs every 20 min between 8:00am and 23:00pm.
From Cais do Sodré train station to Estoril please use the train towards Cascais. The train ride to Estoril takes about 20 min and trains depart every 15/20 min from 06:00am to 01.00am. Buy your ticket in the ticket machines or at the counter before entering the train. The cost for a one way ticket is about 2,10€. The train station in Estoril is located about 5 min walking distance from the congress centre.
Taxis
The city is served by 3.500 taxis and a taxi ride from the airport to Estoril should cost between 35€ and 40€. Please have cash available for your taxi journey or check with the drivers before travelling if they take credit cards.
The journey from Lisbon airport to Estoril takes about 25/40 minutes, depending on the traffic situation.

Health Requirements
With the exception of vaccination certificates for persons coming from areas where yellow fever is endemic, at present there are no special health requirements.
Medical Care
Clinics and hospitals provide 24 hrs emergency service.
The national emergency phone number is 112. Hotels have a doctor on call through the reception. Reciprocal E.C. cover is available at out-patient departments, otherwise private consultation fees are charged.
Hotel Check in/out Policy
Normal check in time at hotels is 14.00h. The established check out time is 12.00h. Should you need guaranteed occupancy before 14.00h on the day of your arrival, the previous night should be reserved.
Tipping/Gratuities/Service
This is optional, but usually we give 10% in taxis, restaurants and cafeterias.
Pharmacy
The pharmacies are open on weekdays from 09.00h to 19.00h (some may be closed between 13.00h and 15.00h) and on weekends from 09.00h to 13.00h.
An illuminated green cross indicates that that pharmacy is opened after hours. For further information regarding the after hours pharmacies please consult www.farmaciasdeserviço.net
Smoking
The Portuguese law, in accordance with Regulations in force in the majority of European Countries and the USA, does not allow smoking in any public transportation or in any closed public areas. (Some restaurants, bars and discotecs may have a designated smoking area).
Municipal Tourist Tax
Since January 2016, visitors to the Portuguese capital of Lisbon have to pay a Municipal Tourist Tax, which is currently €2 (£1.72) per person, per night. Children under 13 are exempt from the overnight tax and it only applies to the first seven days of your stay.
